Famous singer and actress Öykü Gürman continues her career in two different tracks. The actress, who came to the agenda with her concerts in the summer period, will join the cast of the Alparslan Great Seljuk series as of September, and this time she will be evaluated with her acting performance.
Öykü Gürman, who had a very good break in acting with the character of Asiye in the TV series Sen Anlat Karadeniz, was also highly praised by her fans. The actress, who was also in the cast of the “Gel Dese Aşk” series, which was screened in only 4 episodes on ATV, also attracted attention with her television programs.
Öykü Gürman, who took strong steps on acting after singing, will be in the cast of a historical series this time on the TRT1 screen in the new season. The departure of Fahriye Evcen from the series in which Barış Arduç played the leading role upset all the fans of the series.
New characters will join the new period of the series, which started as Uyanış Büyük Selçuklu (Awakening Great Seljuk) 2 years ago and then came to the screen as Alparslan Büyük Selçuklu (Alparslan Great Seljuk) after the story and staff change. Öykü Gürman will portray one of these characters.
Gürman reflected her excitement in the first statement she made about the project. Explaining that she will play the character of Öke Hatun, the actress said, “There is a development that excites me. I entered the Alparslan Great Seljuk TV series. With the character of Öke Hatun, I am the wife of Yinal. I met my fellow actors,” she said.
Stating that the Alparslan Great Seljuk series is both a new beginning and a new excitement for her, Öykü Gürman explained the reason for this as follows:
“I rode a horse for the first time, I started taking riding lessons. I will do it when I have the opportunity in concert spaces. It is the first time for me to have an experience and I loved it.”
Explaining that costumes, riding a horse and using a sword brought great innovations to her, the actress said that she was trying to get used to these conditions.
It was understood from Öykü Gürman’s statements that she took part in a short essay section. Explaining that she successfully filmed these shoots with the support of the director, Gürman says, “I will go to training whenever I get the chance from concerts,” and plans to complete the preparations before the new episodes in September.
Fahriye Evcen left the highly anticipated Alparslan series for the second season. With the series, which will return to the screen with new characters in the new season, Öykü Gürman will have taken a new step in her acting career.
