Engin Altan Düzyatan, the actor who plays Oruç Reis in the series, noted that the series is a very special project and said: “I am very excited to be together on TRT again in a new project. TRT really set the cheetah a little higher this time. We encountered a much higher level set with their plateau and the reality we live in.”
Pelin Akil, who played the role of Isabel, took part in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz series last season. The actress, who appeared before the audience in a historical production in the new season, said, “We are in an incredible plateau. Incredible decor. You really feel like you’re in that era when you’re acting,” she said.
Actor İsmail Filiz, who gave life to the character of Kılıçoğlu, stated that the series was a story that started one and a half years ago for him, and that Turkey’s largest and Europe’s largest plateaus were made for the production.
The script of the series, directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca, is written by Mustafa Burak Doğu and Ethem Arslan.
