The shooting of the Redemption (Kefaret) series, which has been in preparation for a long time, started today (Thursday, October 15). The shooting of the series, which will be broadcast on Fox TV and starring Mert Fırat and Nurgül Yeşilçay, who recently starred in the TV series Gülperi, started at the end.
At the same time, Nurgül Yeşilçay was the first to announce the start for Redemption, a production that Yeşilçay and Fırat fans have been eagerly awaiting. Master writer Mahinur Ergun writes the script of the series based on a story in Zülfü Livaneli’s book called Konstantiniyye Hotel. Lavinya Ünlüer and Göktan Oktay Göztepe will play Yeşilçay’s children in the series.
Mert Fırat will play a police officer, while Nurgül Yeşilçay will play a music teacher named Zeynep, who is married and has two children, in the series where a happy married couple changes their lives suddenly after an incident. Mert Fırat is a police officer named Sinan.
Ege Kökenli will also play the role of Nil, the lover of Sinan, who will be played by Mert Fırat. Her origin was last played in the TV series My Sweet Lie.
