News about Barbaroslar, one of TRT1’s ambitious productions, has been on the agenda for a long time. Due to the fact that it is a period series, a great preparation was made and the works are still continuing. Ships were built for the series by engineers and expert teams on the plateau.
For the series, some of which will be shot on the set, there will also be shootings in real places. The shooting of the open sea scenes of the Es Film signed Barbaroslar series has started.
The shooting of the series, written by Mustafa Burak Doğu and directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca, continues in Antalya and Marmaris.
Ulaş Tuna Astepe also plays the leading role in the series where Engin Altan Düzyatan is preparing to return to the screen with the Barbaroslar after Diriliş Ertuğrul. Meticulous studies have been carried out for months regarding the series in which sections from the life of Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa will be presented.
It was announced that Yetkin Dikinciler, Caner Topçu and Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu were added to the cast of the series, which began shooting on March 30.
In the series, Engin Altan Düzyatan will play Oruç Reis, Ulaş Tuna Astepe will play Oruç Reis’ older brother Barbaros, Yetkin Dikinciler İshak, and Caner Topçu will portray Barbaros Hayreddin and another brother of Oruç Reis, İlyas. It has not been announced yet which role Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu will portray.
