The news of important changes from the Barbaroslar Akdeniz’in Kılıcı series, which was broadcast on TRT1 screens on Thursday evenings, came one after another. However, as the episodes progressed, the TRT1 series, which forgot the first place, lagged behind the Camdaki Kız in the ratings. Due to the low ratings in the last two weeks, the claim of first place was also left behind.
The Barbaroslar series, which fell behind Bir Zamanlar Çukurova in the category of all people, was able to come in third last week. Although the ratings of the series are good, it is not acceptable to lag behind rival productions. Barbaroslar, which TRT1 has revealed as the highest budget and best series of this season, cannot have the expected effect in the ratings. Due to this situation, some adjustments were made.
Journalist Birsen Altuntaş shared the latest information in the series. The first change came at the point of the scenario. Criticism of the series’ sea scenes, dialogues and the progression of the story began to increase. At this point, the scenario changed hands. Serdar Özönalan and Hakan Erimez will write the script for the new episodes of the series.
A director change was also made in the technical team of the Barbaroslar series, which was prepared by Es Film for 1 year and used large budgets for the shootings.
Doğan Ümit Karaca, who is also the director of the Payitaht Abdülhamid series and has been working with the team for a long time, parted ways. In addition, the cinematographer Münir Gürsoy left the team.
Berat Özdogan will direct the Barbaroslar series in the new period. Ersan Capan will be the cinematographer. Changes will also be followed carefully in Chapter 6, where the new team will take part.
