The countdown has begun for the broadcast of the first episode of the Aziz series, which Murat Yıldırım and Damla Sönmez fans are looking forward to. Aziz, a period series, will be on Show TV very soon.
Murat Yıldırım, one of the handsome actors of the screen, returned to the screen with the Ramo series in 2020 after a four-year hiatus. The actor had a great success in the production, which lasted two seasons. However, with the end of Ramo, Murat Yıldırım’s fans had a great disappointment.
Talented actress Damla Sönmez also managed to multiply her fan base, especially with the character of Efsun she portrayed in the Çukur series. Damla Sönmez, who agreed with the Aziz series immediately after Çukur, did not leave her fans on the road.
Two very popular actors are preparing to come to the screen with the Aziz series very soon. The long-running period drama Aziz will be broadcast on Show TV. However, no announcement has been made about the exact release date.
The Aziz series, which will tell both a love story and a family drama, takes place in Hatay in the 1930s. The story, which started before Hatay’s accession to the Republic of Turkey, will also bring the liberation struggle to the screens.
The Aziz series, which comes in an extremely idiosyncratic way, is a very high-budget series. So much so that a special town was established in Antakya for the series. The story of the Aziz series will be as follows:
Aziz Payidar (Murat Yıldırım), the son of the Payidar family, the largest and only carpet manufacturer in Antakya, leads a prosperous and wealthy life. Aziz’s fate changes when the French delegate Monsieur Pierre (Fırat Tanış) kills his son, Lieutenant Andre, and he has to leave everything and leave his hometown.
While everyone thought he was dead, Aziz returns two years later. However, nothing is the same anymore. Not only did Aziz lose everything he owned, but Antakya, which was under French occupation, became worse than he left. Moreover, his first love Dilruba (Damla Sönmez) is engaged to his uncle Galip Payidar’s (Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan) son Adem (Guven Murat Akpınar).
Eda Tezcan wrote the script for the Aziz series, whose project was designed by Necati Şahin, with Recai Karagöz in the director’s chair. In addition to Damla Sönmez and Murat Yıldırım, Simay Barlas, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Fırat Tanış, Güven Murat Akpınar, Eren Hacısalihoğlu, Suzan Kardeş, Ayten Soykök, Elif Sönmez and Füsun Demirel and Meral Çetinkaya take part.
