The new series Duran, which has made the audience impatient with its new trailer released recently, is getting ready to go on the air on Tuesday, January 11 on GAIN. The series, starring Oktay Çubuk, Bahar Şahin and master actor İlyas Salman, focuses on the life struggles of 3 young people who are making plans to get rid of the suburban neighborhood they live in, with an unexpected intersection.
Duran, directed and scripted by Yunus Ozan Korkut, is getting ready to make a splash with its breathtaking action-packed scenes, colorful and innovative cinematography and surprising script. Bahar Şahin, who has not been seen in serials for a long time, will also meet with her fans with this production. The actress, who came to the fore with the character of Ceren in the TV series Zalim Istanbul, did not accept the offers that came to her for a while. Bahar Şahin will impress everyone with her different role in the production called Duran.
“The common goal of Duran, Celal and Mustafa is to find a way to get rid of the suburban neighborhood they live in as soon as possible. Duran (Oktay Çubuk) wants to win the Muay Thai tournament and become a wealthy and famous fighter. Celal (Burak Can Doğan) starts working on a rap composition after his unsuccessful attempts. On the other hand, Mustafa (Batuhan Gelener) tries to throw the cover on the influential gang of the neighborhood. For former champion boxer Hakkı (Ilyas Salman), the owner of the Golden Gloves gym, the upcoming tournament is also the only opportunity to get rid of his debts to the influential brother of the neighborhood, Sedat (Erdem Şenocak). When Hakkı’s granddaughter Aslı (Bahar Şahin), who lives in Germany, whom she has not seen for years, shows up with a stolen diamond and then loses the diamond as a result of an accident, it upsets the balance in the neighborhood.”
