The audience, who are passionately attached to the TV series Seni Kalbime Sakladım (I Saved You in My Heart), which was broadcast on TRT1 screens and appeared before the audience for the last time on Thursday evening, August 11, with its 7th episode, rebelled. Those who are uncomfortable with the TV series starring Sevda Erginci and Ekin Mert Daymaz, are sharing their feelings on social media.
The viewers were relieved at first that TRT1, the public broadcaster, tried to continue the series without making an early finale and always allowed a reasonable amount of time. However, after the final decision was taken, everyone was surprised and with the 7th episode, the series Seni Kalbime Sakladım ended.
This brings TRT1 to a different point, as it is the TV series that has been canceled in the shortest time in recent years. TRT1 had previously broadcast many series that received much lower ratings. However, Seni Kalbime Sakladım was not given this time, and viewers reacted to the public broadcaster’s act as private channels.
The following comments came to the fore in the comments made after the final episode of the series aired: “The drama was so good and it had a difference, it was such a disappointment that it ended so early, I wish it hadn’t been a victim of ratings.”
“It ended absurdly. A lot of things went unanswered. In the 5th episode, the final news came. Doesn’t a person make a change in the 7th episode scenario? The screenwriters only adapted the last scene for the finale. They played the rest like a normal episode. We endured a scenario like this well for the actors. In addition, TRT1 is no longer different from other channels. They don’t worry about rating, they don’t make the final right away, they finished that idea with this series. It wasn’t like this before. Shame on the actors and their efforts.. Everything is not forgotten when it ends happily. So I’ve never been happy. Lead couple; Let’s be happy about what was wasted 7 episodes because of the producer, the scriptwriters and the channel.”
“This series had at least 5 more episodes. It’s a shame they finished it as Pat. You could have done at least one more episode and ended it with a better finale. You have no respect for your audience either. You didn’t even give an explanation about your reason for finishing. If I knew it would be like this, I wouldn’t have watched it from the beginning. It always happens to the audience because of your rating concerns.”
