Work has begun on the Netflix movie Kül (Ash), starring Mehmet Günsür, Alperen Duymaz and Funda Eryiğit.
Mehmet Günsür and Alperen Duymaz, the two young men of the film signed by Ay Yapım, came together. Fans who saw the photos shared on social media of the duo were already excited.
The story of the movie begins with the text of the book called ‘Ash’ coming to a publishing house. Mehmet Günsür will give life to the owner of the publishing house in the movie.
Funda Eryiğit will give life to the character of ‘Gökçe’, the wife of the publisher’s owner. Alperen Duymaz will play the carpenter ‘Metin Ali’ character in Kül.
In Kül, written by Erdi Işık and directed by Erdem Tepegöz, there will be forbidden love between the characters of “Gökçe” and “Metin Ali”.
Especially Son Yaz (Last Summer) series fans made comments on social media that this would be a bit strange as they will now watch Alperen Duymaz and Funda Eryiğit in the roles of mother-in-law and groom as lovers in the movie Kül.
The film, which is prepared for Netflix, will be shot in the summer. This summer, Mehmet Günsür will also take a role in Disney Plus’s Atatürk series, starring Aras Bulut İynemli.
Mehmet Günsür, who will enter a busy shooting schedule for both projects, especially in July and August, will take a guest role in the series and will appear in front of the audience as Mustafa Kemal’s father Ali Rıza Efendi.
The Atatürk series, which will start shooting in July and will be broadcast on Disney Plus, is a very meaningful project as it will be broadcast in 2023, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.
