Successful actor Alperen Duymaz, who starred in the series ‘Leyla’ directed by Hilal Saral and signed by Ay Yapım, will be on NOW screens on Wednesday, September 11th.
Alperen Duymaz, who plays the character of Civan in the new project adapted from the series ‘Avenida Brazil’, which broke viewing records by affecting all of Latin America when it was broadcast in Brazil, explained his excitement and thoughts about the series with the following words:
“I have always been impressed by everyone and everything that pursues real and constructive feelings since I can remember. It was a time when I was open to new work. The script of ‘Leyla’ came to me and I read it immediately. I really liked the flow of events and the story. You know, there are people we encounter in the flow of life; yes, they may not work in the garbage dump, but some collect paper, some are forced to beg at a young age, some work as street vendors. They have some common characteristics, they are orphans. They either lost their families at an early age or never knew them. Even though some of them have families, they had to go out on the streets at a young age to earn money. It is the same with ‘Leyla’.
There is a ‘Güzide mother’ in the series, who we can call the person of the orphans. Güzide’s house needs to turn somehow, so the ‘orphans’ she adopts help her and collect garbage at the garbage dump. In return, they receive a warm bed, delicious hot meals, and motherly affection. Civan is one of these garbage dumps. He spent his childhood in this garbage dump, where he understood the good moments and bad moments of life, and the realities of life. He had to grow up at a young age sometimes. Nowadays, he can sometimes act childish.
Therefore, I was very impressed and excited by ‘Leyla’. We are counting the days until it goes on air.”
