WHO IS KADİR DOĞULU?
Kadir Doğulu is a Turkish actor born on April 19, 1982 in Mersin. He is best known for playing Macit in “Fatih Harbiye.”
FAMILY AND CHILDHOOD
Kadir Doğulu was born in Mersin to a housewife mother and a retired laborer father. Growing up in a large family with three brothers and one sister, he has said this upbringing taught him about human relationships and self-awareness from a young age. Starting at age 9, he began working in various jobs around his neighborhood to contribute to the family’s income, eventually finding his footing in the food and beverage industry before moving to Istanbul.
CAREER BEGINNINGS
Doğulu studied at the Department of Gastronomy at Okan University. He had no connection to the entertainment industry until a friend, press consultant Funda Düşgör, suggested he should be on screen. He made his television debut in 2010 with the series “Küçük Sırlar,” though the beginning was challenging for him.
BREAKTHROUGH
Doğulu drew wide attention for his role as Macit in the series “Fatih Harbiye.” He made his cinema debut in Talip Karamahmutoğlu’s film “Bir Hikayem Var.”
PERSONAL LIFE
Doğulu married fellow actress Neslihan Atagül in 2016. He has described his relationship with her and the family they built together as his greatest source of happiness. He is known for his natural, polite, warm, energetic, cheerful and hardworking personality, and has described himself as someone who does not believe in giving up.
