Yağız Can Konyalı, Turkey’s leading art institutions Zorlu PSM and Akbank Sanat, is preparing to meet the audience in the musical “Peter Pan and the Neverland”, a Peter Pan adaptation, on the 50th anniversary of Akbank Children’s Theatre.
In the musical, where we will watch the young actress as Peter Pan, Elif Gülalp will play the character of Wendy, Sami Levi as Captain Hook and Su Sonia Herring as Tinkerbell.
The musical begins with Wendy, who tells his siblings stories every night and sends them off to a sweet sleep, and lives a night different than usual, meeting Peter Pan, the child of fairy tales, and his guardian fairy, Tinker Bell. Under the influence of fairy dust, the protagonists embark on fascinating, exciting and unexpected adventures, embarking on a journey to an island called Neverland.
The musical “Peter Pan and the Never-Being Land”, whose text and lyrics were written by Mehmet Ergen, music was composed by Tuluğ Tırpan and choreographed by Beyhan Murphy, aims to inspire not only children but also adults and color their world with its 27-person cast and special shows.
The musical, which will continue to be screened all year, will be ready to meet its audience at Zorlu PSM as of April 23.
