Star TV is arguably one of the most effective TV series strategies of this season. Channel officials, who have failed in many series in recent years, have started to produce effective productions one after another after making an agreement with OGM Pictures, which has signed important projects.
Except for the Camdaki Kız (Girl in the Glass), whose 3rd season continues on Kanal D, OGM Pictures is working only for Star TV this season… First, great success was achieved with the TV series The Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy). The series, which broke the rating records, was the most successful production of the 2022-2023 season.
Afterwards, Star TV, which had a good break with the TV series Çöp Adam (Stickman), brought the new drama series Ömer together with the audience last week. With the successful results of these three projects, the low ratings experienced in Star TV’s viewing rates in recent years suddenly jumped.
The series projects of OGM Pictures, which is also the producer of the daily series Toprak ve Fidan on Star TV, will not be limited to this. Preliminary preparations were completed for the Ab-ı Hayat (water of immortality) series, in which the duo of Ebru Şahin and Birkan Sokullu took the leading roles, and the team got on the set and started working.
OGM Pictures has another series project. The TV series called Kral Kaybederse (If the King Loses), which has been talked about for a long time but whose scenario has not been fully completed, is expected to be broadcast on Star TV in 2023.
Star TV has succeeded in becoming the best debuting channel of this season with new series one after the other. Of course, the important factor that provides this is the experience gained in one of the important series projects that OGM Pictures has put forward since its establishment.
OGM Pictures, owned by Onur Güvenatam, started in 2019 with the Netflix series Atiye; It produced such influential TV series as Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir (Your Home Your House), Kırmızı Oda (The Red Room) and Masumlar Apartmanı (the Innocent Apartment). The production company, which has gained great experience with these projects that are not continuing at the moment, seems to be one of the most important companies in the sector with its 5 TV series on the screen.
