TRT 1’s new historical series with a huge budget, Barbaroslar, is advancing rapidly. While the shootings of Barbaroslar, which is expected to be on the screens very soon, continue, the name of the series has finally been announced!
The shooting of the series, which will tell about the life of Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha and his brothers, had begun a long time ago. For a long time, preparations were made for the project in which Engin Altan Düzyatan and Ulaş Tuna Astepe took the lead roles.
While the preparations for Barbaroslar continue at full speed, the production company Es Film and TRT finally announced the full name of the new series. The new name of the Barbaroslar series is Barbaroslar Akdeniz’in Kılıcı.
TRT 1 and its production company did not give the full name of the series in their promotions until today. In the bulletins about the new series, the name of the series was always referred to as “TRT 1’s giant project”. Thus, the name of the directory became clear.
In addition to Engin Altan Düzyatan and Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Yetkin Dikinciler, Caner Topçu, İsmail Filiz, Pelin Akil, Yiğit Özşener, Batuhan Bayar, Gülcan Arslan, Melis Babadağ and Miraç Sözer take part in the TV series Barbaroslar Akdeniz’in Kılıcı.
The drama about the rise of the four brothers coming out of Lesbos, facing the dangers and becoming the conquerors of the seas; It will tell the adventure of Sipahi Yakup Ağa’s four sons, İshak, Oruç, Hızır and İlyas, to turn into Barbaros brothers.
Directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca, the director of the TV series Payitaht Abdülhamid, the offshore scenes of the series are held in Marmaris and Antalya.
