Engin Akyürek, who met with a huge fan interest at the autograph signing of the story book Zamansız (Timeless), continues to be talked about with the statements he made. The actor stated that the release of the book was prolonged because he had time problems due to the shooting of the series.

Mentioning that doing something other than acting is very valuable for him, Engin Akyürek stated that he is also pleased to meet his fans in his own neighborhood.

Explaining that he prepared the stories accumulated in 3-4 years as a book, the actor said that events such as pandemics and earthquakes were also included in the book, and that he brought together the stories that would make the reader feel happy and good in his Zamansız book.

Mentioning that he was very impressed when he saw the true love of his fans from different countries of the world, Engin Akyürek said, “There are many people from different parts of the world here. When you see that true love, it’s happy, it’s precious,” he said.

Explaining that he donated the proceeds of the book to the Spinal Cord Paralysis Association of Turkey, the actor said that it is important not financially but spiritually and that he is making efforts to raise awareness.

Stating that the stories of the book are fictional, but he also tells the details of his own life in stories, Engin Akyürek said, “I have a childhood. There are so many things that touch my life. I tried to describe them in something fictional. There is Engin Akyürek in total. Unlike the characters I play, people see me as someone else. He said that the things they read in this book touch my life and there are details in my life.” He said that he reflected his experiences in the book as fictional stories.

Reminding that his fans from different countries of the world gathered aid after the earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaraş in February, Engin Akyürek explained how important this feeling is:

“It’s something done by them and voluntarily. It’s their own organization. It’s been done before. These are so precious. If we can make people from different countries of the world empathize with the pain in this country, that is valuable.”
