The new Show TV series named Maviye Sürgün (Blue Cage) met the audience with its first episode on Monday, June 12th. Shooting in Selimiye neighborhood in Marmaris district of Muğla was very good for the actors. After 7 months of efforts, a 25-episode successful story emerged.
Maviye Sürgün was a different design for the Turkish television industry, as it was first broadcast in Latin American countries and attracted great interest abroad. The first fruit of the agreement between Intermedia and NBCU’s American television channel Telemundo, the Maviye Sürgün TV series is expected to reach a wider audience with its launch in Turkey.
Along with Caner Cindoruk and Damla Sönmez, Serkan Altunorak is also in the lead roles in the series. Until now, fans have always watched the famous actor in a good role. But this time, Altunorak as a very bad guy surprises his fans.
“This time I’m playing a pretty bad guy, I’m playing a very bad guy,” Altunorak said.
Playing the character of Ozan Adar, the actor said that he experienced a first in his career. The actor, who was very impressed with the character, therefore accepted the project. Serkan Altunorak also said that the publication status of the project abroad is very exciting.
The actor stated that he has been on boat holidays for 10 years and that he loves the calmness of Selimiye. Explaining that this area was used for rehabilitation in ancient times, the actor said, “You can really feel that spirit. When you spend that much time here, you understand more.”
Explaining that he is warmly attracted to the idea of living in a coastal town in the Aegean, the actor said, “I saw that I could manage when I was alone in a place like this. I can, I’m never bored. I didn’t get bored with myself,” he said.
The series, which also includes very valuable actors such as Bülent Şakrak, Ayça Erturan, Ruhi Sarı and Hakan Salınmış, is known as Blue Cage abroad.
