Family: Her parents separated when she was young. She preferred not to meet with her father. Since her mother was working, her grandmother and her brother raised them. How did she start acting? She was selected as the “Mediterranean Queen” in the Miss Mediterranean Beauty Contest held in Antalya in 2006. She decided to become a professional actress after receiving an award at the Theater Festival she attended in high school. While completing her undergraduate education at Ege University Archeology Department, she also studied acting at Bornova Municipality City Theater.
She started her acting career as a trainee in Bornova Municipality City Theater. “When I was in high school, my mother, brother and I lived together. We were 3 roommates. They were working, and I was looking for a job in the summer to contribute to the house. I went to an agency to be an assistant or something. ‘We have a beauty contest. Mindset: She doesn’t think she’s a very intellectual person. Sh wants to be someone who reads and researches more. Often she experiences rapid emotional shifts. “I search for things, watch, but it goes out of my memory. I may not always be present in intellectual conversations. I’m more good at humane conversations. My EQ (emotional intelligence) is more dominant than IQ. My emotion transitions are very fast. Both my happiness and my sadness. When I’m very happy, I can suddenly get very angry and sad. But all for a short time. Very extreme and short. I’m not afraid of getting old, I’ll be a tonton grandmother. Small wrinkles started to appear. I am a person who constantly grins and the lines come out from my laughter. I do not criticize anyone for making aesthetics. I make money from my gestures and I love my lines. When you look at the face of an aged person, you see the lived-in and I love that wrinkle situation. Her view of business life: She starts every new job without thinking about the end. She wants a completely different role in the next project from the previous ones, as she always progresses by leveling up. “I have never thought of the end until now. I see, it will be good or bad, I started every work because it doesn’t matter. And while I pray, I am grateful for everything good or bad that happened to me. Because thanks to them, I’m here now. It was like this until today, but from now on, some fears may start, because thank God all my work has turned out well. Especially Matter Of Respect, Flames Of Desire, Çok Fazla Çok Yakın, which we shot with Türkan Derya. All three of them had a lot of work in the name of acting. I see that I am also successful from the reactions I got. Now, if I fail at my next job, I will surely be very sad. I say “Burcu means you missed the end of the rope and obviously you have too much confidence in yourself” I feel sorry and punish myself. But even if I fail, there is nothing to do, I cannot say how I did it. I immediately come back to myself, get together and continue on my way. ”
Concerns: She thinks people are becoming increasingly aggressive towards each other and she worries about it. “Suddenly, it was as if we all ate a poisonous raw meat and went wild. I may be thinking wrong, but I think the biggest reason for this is social media. It was like this before; We had an idea, we were thinking about it, talking and arguing among ourselves. Social media is of course very good and useful; technology does not mind. As a network, it is very wide, it is the only channel where we can get the news of everything, read, and know about the world and each other. But it seems to me that social media has two sides. His other face is pushing everybody to speak his mind so much. I can talk to you personally, I can write something personally, but we cannot face it. That’s why I can write against you however I want. I am not speaking for myself, I am saying it for all of us; Being in direct communication rather than face to face on social media has made us so limitless. I’m not sure if demeanor is the right word, but we’ve been overly encouraged. Because on social media, we can easily write about politics, art, and what we cannot say about who they are. I think this has now spread to our normal lives. With the courage we got there, everyone started to get into each other. Why did that happen? We got very unhappy. We are constantly seeing strange, strange, unthinkable news. I am very sorry.”
What does she do at home? Generally, homegrown, they do activities that they enjoy at home with their spouse in their spare time, such as watching movies and playing games. She also loves to cook. “Sometimes you can’t spend so much time at home that it is the happiest activity to spend time at home on your sofa. Spread out on the sofa, watch your movie, love your cat, cook food. On the days when we both go out early, we are either trying to go to the cinema or Emre is trying to take me to dinner. What does she spend money on? She doesn’t like to spend money on clothes. She usually spends her money on travel. “I don’t care if it was such a dress, style, bag. I’m earning, I’m going on vacation.
