Family: Her parents are from Sinop. They met there. Her father went to Frankfurt to pursue a master’s degree in economics, and after a while she took her mother with her. Her father read and her mother worked. “I was born there. Iranian, Italian, African; I made friends from many different cultures and grew up in a “mosaic of culture.” The sense of belonging, which we are accustomed to from the expatriate stories, should not be for this reason. I have never thought of things like whether I am Turkish or German. I was always worldly ”.
Childhood years: For the first time in high school, she plays a theater play as Bonnie and Clyde’s Bonnie. Exit, that exit. But because she wants to have a gold bracelet on her arm, she is studying business. While everything is going well, the city where she lives over time is not enough for her. She wants to discover new places and cultures. But her age is still at the beginning of her 16th parents, but she wears her backpack and starts her world tour: “My first stop was Malta. Then London, South India, South Africa, Dubai … I took acting classes in Paris, and did theater in New York. I both read and worked. ”
Education life: She completed her education at the USA Truman State Universty. She also graduated from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences school in Germany. She also studied acting in Paris.
The turning point of her life : While she was a student in Frankfurt, she was a waiter while meeting a team of a Turkish agency. They said, “Your face is beautiful, give me your photos.” But then neither the caller was asking. Three years passed, I was now in New York. A cast director found me through that agency. They offered the lead role in the series called “Filinta”. Of course, since I don’t know the sector, I said ‘I can come to the shootings once a week’ Our conditions did not meet, I could not abandon my university. The news came from Ay Yapım when the school was over and I gathered everything and came to Istanbul. ”
First step to acting: She had her first acting experience with the TV series ‘Tell Me Loving’ in 2016.
Which project did it shine with? It attracted attention with the character of ‘Elif’, which it portrayed in the ‘Captive’ series in 2017.
Personality traits: It has an energetic spirit beneath its silent, patient appearance. The warrior is downright and upright.
Social: She likes to dance. “I did hip hop, we had a group, we were even on the stage in Frankfurt. I love Latin dances too, I want to learn modern dance as soon as possible. ”
Mindset: She wants to live on her own truth, with her own rules. She knows what she wants. Norms and rules outside disturb her. “I’m really curious when this desire to be in constant motion within me will end. I think I always have the fear of missing something. It feels scary to stop … Fame is not a purpose and a result for me. My only concern is that the job I am in is good. So I’m not preparing for fame. It seems very interesting to me that people I do not know come to me and chat with me now, but I like it very much. I’m not a planned person. I don’t like to live according to the rules that others draw. I want to decide the flow of my life and what choices I make. I can’t stay where I can’t do that. ”
How’s someone on the set? “I’m playing with my eyes. I believe that it will be more worth the heart when it conveys my feelings. I take on the character I’m playing. ”
Source of happiness: Feeling like a person of the world makes her happy. “I am a person who has seen many cultures and traveled, and this is a very positive effect on my ability to easily adapt to every condition, every condition, in every way. I am Turkish but I was born and raised in Germany. I had no trouble when I came here. ”
Definition of love: “Love is a beautiful thing; once it beautifies you, it allows you to discover a different person within you or other different features. ”
Her outlook on life: Every country she visits opens new horizons for her. Especially her experience in South India is different: “I stayed with a family in Hyderabad. On the one hand, the church bells were ringing, on the one hand, the adhan was read. The family I stayed with belonged to the Hinduism religion, and they prayed with bells. I learned to be tolerant there. The financial status of that family was high. But when I went out on the street I was seeing children walking around because of poverty. This opened my perceptions to what I experienced. I learned to look around me more. New York was another place that impressed me a lot. Because there people don’t judge each other and you can be like yourself at every point. ”
Business life view: She pays attention to what character she will play in the productions she plays, rather than what names she will work with. At the same time, the character of the Director and the script are of great importance. “I am in love with acting, but when you are in love, one is more easily disappointed, or you start not struggling or fighting enough, which is a self-directed disappointment. I’m having a comeback right now, at a time when I get my excitement back against my profession. ”
Career plan: She wants to open up and explore everywhere. “I’m at the very beginning, I’m just getting warmer … I don’t think about them. We started to meet with some agencies with my manager, and because I speak English and German, London acts as the center, Los Angeles is ideal but it is far from there. While I was playing in an advertisement in London, when everything was actually sitting, the phone came from Osman Exam’s You Tell Black Sea and I came back here. I received this commercial offer immediately after registering with the agency, but of course there was no guarantee that it would always flow like this. I had to make a choice and I used my vote from this side. ”
Dream of the Future : She is not someone who makes long-term plans about her life, so she does not plan too much about acting, but she has dreams I want to realize. “For example, I would like to be in a cult movie. As I progress in my career, I am picky about the project and I do not like it easily. I can not accept almost every incoming work by saying that I should do this too. I think it is fine and I weave it frequently. ”
Concerns: If she had the power to change something in the world, she would have the same level of empathy for everyone. “I think if the people were more understanding of each other, the world would be a completely different place.”
Role model: Her mother. “Strong women are women who do not give up, know how to start again and follow their dreams. Like my mother…
The charm criterion in men: The only criterion is that it has a soul.
Relationship with nature: She likes the Anatolian side of Istanbul, and enjoys sitting in green areas and spending time.
What does she do at home? When she is at home, she reads philosophy books and loves cooking.
Which series does it watch? Not much of a sequencer, very rare watching. Some of the series she watched are The Affair, La Casa de Papel and Killing Eve.
Does she follow the fashion? She likes to dress simply and comfortably. It is inspired by the fashion pages that come up in magazines or on Instagram. “I love the 70’s soul so I always have Spanish trousers and bohemian dresses in my wardrobe.”
