Childhood years: From childhood, she dreamed of becoming an actress. “I am an only child, I used to read or listen to music at home during my primary school years. We used to watch movies with my family, we used to go to rent movies every week, and I used to buy concert recordings from those shops. When I became such a habit, I started to choose foreign youth TV series and movies for my own taste. Stage and performance always impressed me. We used to go to the theatre a lot, not only to children’s plays but also to vaudeville and I had a lot of fun. As I watched, my perception and taste developed. I was sure that I wanted to study theatre and become an actor until I reached puberty.”
Education life: Graduated from Ataşehir Fine Arts High School Theater Department and Kadir Has University Theater Department.
The turning point of her life: “Sadakatsiz” became the longest-running series of her career. She became widely known through the series. “I caught the attention of our director Neslihan Yeşilyurt a long time ago… We felt that we shared a very strong bond the day we met. Ever since the first day I read the script, I wanted to play Nil, with this desire, with the desire to understand her, I tried the test shoot. We came together with Neslihan Hoca and Taro (Emir Tekin) and we achieved a strong harmony. Since my teenage years, I have been producing especially in theatre and cinema, but this is my first time playing in a job with such a large audience on television.”
While I was studying at Fine Arts High School, I first appeared on stage with Cüneyt Türel and Mine Tugay in Dot’s play ‘Karatavuk’. Then I entered Kadir Has University Theater Department. My first on-camera experience when I was in first grade was ‘Çıplak Gerçek’, adapted and directed by Ümit Ünal. In my last year, my path crossed with Haluk Bilginer in a workshop; In the year I graduated, I started playing “Köprüden Görünüş” at the Oyun Atölyesi. Our ‘King Lear’ game, which we took a break from due to the pandemic, is in its third season and will continue. I also had two digital series; ‘Bartu Ben’ and ‘Yarım Kalan Aşklar’.”
The first step into acting: She started her television adventure in 2012 with the character of “Naime”, which she portrayed in the TV series “Çıplak Gerçek”.
Which project did she shine with? She attracted attention with the character of “Nil”, which she played in the TV series “Sadakatsiz”.

Social: With the effect of the pandemic, her social life was interrupted a little. “My life consists only of long phone calls with the set, my house, my dog, my family and friends. I continue to dream about theatre for the future. I usually work three days. On other days, I stay at home, taking into account the pandemic. I spend time with my dog.”
Mindset: She thinks she is a lucky person in terms of family and friends. “So difficulties do not turn into a dead-end in my life. Playing is the focus of my life. If I can’t act, I will have the biggest difficulty. So that this does not happen, I try to keep my work and discipline firm and new.”
Source of happiness: She is happy to be recognized by many people and the attention she receives from people with her TV series Sadakatsiz. “I am greeted with such kindness and joy that I am obviously very happy. Our audience embraces Nil and follows the series with excitement. When these two are combined, I always get good feedback and comments from smiling faces. A very motivating, pleasing interest.”
Her view of love: “Love is an ever-increasing bond of love and simultaneous passion for me. But a transcendent love, joy and height; It is a feeling that can spread to life and comes not only from people but also from art, nature, a strong empathy.”
How she is on set: She is happy to be on set. “There were scenes where we shot Sadakatsiz in Tekirdağ, but we shoot in Istanbul. Sadakatsiz is a job with a short episode duration compared to the overall average, but still quite long for a weekly broadcast. On the one hand, everyone is always trying to go above the line of their work. That’s why there is always a feverish work on the set. It is a very well directed set by Neslihan Yeşilyurt and Benal Tahiri. That’s why I always go to the set very happy and enthusiastic. It gives me a special pleasure to coincide with everyone in the cast. We have been working together for months, I have made friends from the team whose existence I am happy to have. We have a system that we rehearse with Taro (Tarık Emin Tekin) before shooting, and I care a lot about this sharing outside of the set. With Neslihan Yeşilyurt and Cansu Dere, I feel again and again that I have experienced a very special sharing since the beginning of this adventure, and I am grateful for that.”

Her perspective on business life: From the first day she read the script of the TV series Sadakatsiz, she wanted to play Nil. She feels lucky in this respect. “The series changed my place in my profession. Taking part in a job that is shot every week is very stimulating and challenging at times. I’ve never played this hard in front of the camera before, so I’m very happy. I am getting very good responses. I am not experiencing anything negative. Our audience embraces and appreciates the work.
Dreaming of the Future: She is also writing plays. He has close ties to the theatre. She wants to concentrate on theatre and take more roles in movies. “I started doing theatre in high school. I studied playwriting for two years in Galata Perform’s “High School Teens Write Plays” program. Then we established a formation called Galata Perform Genç and we did three performances. It attracted a lot of attention. The same team took part in the movie “Mavi Dalga”. We shot a documentary and a short film. I was already inclined to produce. I headed to that area. I also did theatre at that time. I got involved in everything I did outside of acting because I found the story so compelling. Maybe one day I can dream of something and write it down. But right now I prefer to play and develop myself as an actor. If I live without theatre, I will be very unhappy. The player gets strength from there. You shoot the movie, it’s over. My regular practice is the theatre in my life. I will not give up on the cinema. I dream of longer and more intense movie life.”
Who she admires: She admires Cansu Dere, with whom she stars in Sadakatsiz. “I’ve never worked with a star with such an iconic and stable career like Cansu before. I admire his discipline and his relationship with his job, as well as his energy in the game. I didn’t know Caner either, but since he also did theatre, I was familiar with him and had a vision for his working style. Both are leading roles that give strength to their inexperienced partner with their presence. So I feel very lucky. I feel it for the entire cast. Taro (Emir Tekin) is one of my greatest chances.”
