Son Yaz last season, Ali Atay, Funda Eryiğit, Sinan Tuzcu, Emre Karayel, Şebnem Dönmez appeared before the audience with extremely ambitious names. However, it was announced that all of these actors will leave the series towards the end of the season.
The reason for this separation was the development of Yağmur and Akgün, who came to the fore in the story and played by Hafsanur Sancaktutan and Alperen Duymaz, to become the main characters of the series. As a matter of fact, the new season started with a brand new story by carrying these two young names in the lead roles and experiencing a time jump.
However, although Yağmur and Akgün are a very popular couple, the new version of Son Yaz did not hold up and received low rating results. Fox TV management, which has so many series in its hands and is looking for a day to broadcast them, also made a finale decision about Son Yaz.
Son Yaz series said goodbye to the screens with the final episode aired on Saturday evening. The team of the series said “goodbye” to the viewers with the collective photo they shared. Meanwhile, Son Yaz, with its final episode, ranked 16th in all viewers and 10th in AB and ABC1.
In the series, which ended with its 26th episode, the audience mostly saw Yağmur and Akgün’s story be left unfinished. Although the audience hopes that the story of the duo will come to the screen on a different channel, Alperen Duymaz, one of the leading actors of the series, has already determined his new project.
The famous actor, who signed with Gold Film, will take the lead role in the series Erkek Severse prepared for bein Connect. The preparations and casting of the project, directed by Ömür Atay, continue. It is also eagerly awaited who will be the female lead of the series written by Aslı Zengin.
