One of the first TV series produced for Netflix in Turkey, Atiye’s third season date has been announced. Accordingly, the release date of the third season is June 17th.
Written by Jason George, Nuran Evren Şit and Fatih Ünal, it is the second Turkish original internet series of Netflix in the genre of action and fantasy.
The second season of the series, adapted from writer Şengül Boybaş’s “Dünyanın Uyanışı” and directed by Ozan Açıktan, Gönenç Uyanık and Ali Taner Baltacı, consisted of eight episodes just like the first season. The series, starring Beren Saat, Mehmet Günsür, Metin Akdülger and Melisa Şenolsun, was planned for three seasons.
The third season of Atiye has been filmed and will start broadcasting on Netflix on June 17.
Atiye, where the gripping and mystical story of the painter Atiye is told, is published in different countries under the name The Gift. Beren Saat, who played Atiye in the series, returned to the screens with Netflix’s second Turkish series after a long time. Atiye, who was eagerly awaited by the audience, was also the target of criticism arrows from time to time by TV writers about the shallowness of her subject and her acting.
