The final decision has been made for Baş Belası, one of the series this summer. It has been announced that the series, starring İrem Helvacıoğlu and Seçkin Özdemir, will make the final as of the 13th episode. But Baş Belası viewers didn’t like this decision at all.
The ATV series, which has 11 episodes so far, will bid farewell to the screens after two episodes. Although the story of the series with the harmony of the leading actors Helvacıoğlu and Özdemir was liked by the audience, this was not enough and the ratings of the series did not go as expected. As such, it was decided to bid farewell to Baş Belası’s screens.
The final decision on Baş Belası, of course, was not welcomed by the audience at all. The viewers, who rebelled against the decision, started a campaign on Twitter with the hashtag “Painful Digitale”. The campaign exceeded 100 thousand in a short time.
However, it is doubtful whether this campaign will be successful. Because, previously, a tag campaign was organized for the TV series Mucize Doktor, Hekimoğlu, Maraşlı and Menajerimi Ara, and hundreds of thousands of posts were made on social media, but the efforts were inconclusive.
As a matter of fact, a viewer of the series said that their fandom should be prepared for the bad end in his post and wrote: “We tweeted more than 1M tweets at the time. Baş Belası fandom, you still prepare yourself for the bad end, support tweet that my dear friends are watching”
As a matter of fact, the most important criterion for the continuation of the series is the rating. If the rating is low, a final decision can still be made about the series, no matter how strong it is on social media. Therefore, these campaigns of fandoms are also seen as a futile effort.
