GENERAL IMPRESSION:

In the years it was broadcast, Emret Komutanım broke ratings records for a long time and became one of the phenomenal series. In the TV series Emret Komutanım, which upset the ratings every night it was broadcast, the military period and the events in the military were told from a humorous point of view. In terms of the subject of the series, it blended the daily life in the headquarters, the dialogues of the soldier and the commander with a humorous language and satirical elements, giving the audience enjoyable hours. Many lines in the joint scenes of young talents with master actors took their place among the phenomenal TV lines.

STORY:

Each of them is a member of the Turkish Armed Forces and the soldiers gathered in the 56th Infantry Training Regiment. These people from different parts of Turkey, but who came together for the same national duty, are learning concepts such as longing, friendship and homeland all over again during their military service.

PLACES:

The shooting of the series “Emret Komutanım” was done in Istanbul. The place known as the 56th Infantry Regiment is actually Halkalı Agriculture and Agriculture High School. There is no such unit within the Turkish Armed Forces. Located between Sefaköy and Halkalı, this place is now called Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.

ALL EPISODES:

Emret Komutanım was broadcast on Show TV every Thursday evening between 9 June 2005 and April 2007. The series restarted on Channel 1 on April 30, 2007 and was canceled with its 95th episode. Later, it was broadcast on Fox TV under the name of “Uygun Adım Aşk” and lasted only 10 episodes. In February 2013, it re-aired on Kanaltürk with the name ‘Emret Komutanım Yeniden’, but ended with the finale with its 30th episode.
