Gülse Birsel wrote the script of the series published in 2004 and 2009 and took part in the leading role. STORY
The series of the Sütçüoğlu family, who lives in an elite district of Istanbul, is about a situation comedy, but also a critique comedy. Tahsin Sütçüoğlu (Gazanfer Özcan) is the father of the house, İffet Sütçüoğlu (Hümeyra) is the mother of the house, while Aslı (Gülse Birsel) and Volkan (Ata Demirer) are the children of the Sütçüoğlu family. Aslı, who is the elder child of the house, works in the European Side magazine, which gave the series its name. Volkan, who is the youngest of the house, does not do a specific job, but usually plays the role of entertainment, never growing up, spoiled child of the family.
The series is a Turkish-made sitcom that has managed to get lots of laughter from the situations that the Sütçüoğlu family and the people around them are in. In the series, attention was drawn to the current situation with extreme characters and absurd events transferred from society to the series. The domestic production series reached a serious fan base when it was on air and has managed to take its place among the unforgettable series today.

The series shot in Plato Film studios usually takes place in an apartment we know as the home of the Sütçüoğlu family. The red colored apartment that the series showed as Sütçüoğlu Apartment at the beginning and occasionally is located in the Şişli district of Istanbul, and thanks to the series, it is a building that has been engraved as memories as Sütçüoğlu Apartment. The real name of the apartment, which has become the symbol of the series, is Antik Konak.
