Birand Tunca, who attracted attention with the character of ‘Bisol’ in the TV series Diriliş Ertuğrul in 2014, was recognized by a large audience with the character of ‘Emre’ in the romantic comedy series Aşk Latfan Anlamaz.
The actor, who also appeared in the productions Mehmetçik Kutül Amare and Erkenci Kuş (Early Bird), shared a photo of his with his mother Yasemin Sözen on social media.
The actor’s sharing that “Every moment he breathes is a miracle for me” warmed the hearts of his followers. Birand Tunca fans commented on the photo as “Be together with happiness and health for many, many years”.
In an interview he gave in 2020, Birand Tunca told about the experiences he had with his mother, who had been treated for cancer for 8 years, and how the difficult process added to his personality, and said, “This process with my mother has matured me.”
The actor expressed his feelings in these words: “I met my mother’s illness at the age of 15. She was laughing at me when she got her first chemo, but I knew she was crying inside. From the first moment I saw her throw up, everything started to change for me.
The treatment process was very difficult. Only Demet (Özdemir) knows; I was leaving my mother’s chemotherapy and going to the drama set. This process has matured me. I had a prayer to God; ‘Don’t take her away from me without showing my mom that I can do something on the screen.’ And she answered my prayers.”
