Fox TV’s series Mahkum (meaning: Prisoner), which locks millions of viewers on the screen on Thursday evenings, continues on its way by increasing its success. Barış, one of the characters of the series, was creating controversy in every episode with his psychopathy. However, a more psychopathic character came to the series Mahkum than Barış.
A new psychopathic character has been added to the Mahkum series, which does not go down from the top of the ratings. The character of Sinyor, played by Talat Bulut, who has just joined the series, brought a big move to Mahkum. Sinyor is such a psychopathic character that he even brought Barış to his knees, who surprised the audience with his evil deeds.
The participation of a character like Sinyor in the series excited the audience. The audience watched with amazement as Barış was surprised by Siinyor and turned into a cat that had spilled milk. It seems that Mahkum will continue on his way even stronger thanks to the character of Signor.
While Talat Bulut joins the series in the 14th episode aired last night, Seray Kaya, who plays the character of Cemre, will bid farewell to the Mahkum in 15 episodes. While the audience was very surprised that Seray Kaya was going to say goodbye, it was explained that the reason for this separation was the end of the place of the character of Cemre in the story.
The Mahkum series is not only successful in ratings, but also in social media. The number of viewers of the first episode of the series, starring Onur Tuna, Seray Kaya, İsmail Hacıoğlu, Melike İpek Yalova and Hayal Köseoğlu, which was shared on YouTube three months ago, exceeded 10 million.
The second episode, which aired two months ago, also reached 7.7 million viewers. The number of followers of the YouTube channel of the series has exceeded 500 thousand.
The series signed by MF Production started to come to the screen in December. While Volkan Kocatürk sits in the director’s chair of the adaptation of the South Korean-made Innocent Defendant series, Mahkum is writing the screenplay by Uğraş Güneş.
