Family: She was born in Ankara, originally from Artvin, she has an older brother. She settled in Istanbul at the age of 14 and continued his education and training life here. She took part in the theater team during his school years. “I am from Ankara, I came to Istanbul at the age of 14 after my parents divorced. When we started living in Istanbul, I always told my mother, ‘This place is very crowded. What if I can’t find you one day? I was afraid of getting lost. My mother is also from the industry, a dressmaker. My father did not need to work because my grandfather’s financial situation was good and she took care of us. She raised me like a boy. I only had cars and balls. We are like friends with my father. When the kissing scene came, I called and asked him, “Girl, we threw you into the sea, are we going to say swimming?” She said.
Childhood years: Being an actress was not his childhood dream, she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher at a young age. At the same time, the famous actress Ufuk Özkan, his brother-in-law, started acting with his influence. “I met acting at a young age and suddenly found myself on the sets. I fell in love with acting. I can’t even imagine doing any other job right now. In my own way, I was included in the theater team of our school, I would choose a character from every book I read and act it in front of the mirror. When I got older, I joined the theater team at Ankara Altındağ Youth Center. Then we came to Istanbul. I still wanted to be an actress. Even though there were obstacles in front of me as time passed, my dreams were growing rapidly and excited me. What I wanted was something that was very difficult and required patience, and I knew that I should not give up, I waited for a long time. In 2008, my aunt joined her life with Ufuk Özkan. My brother-in-law, besides being my childhood love, caught my attention with his profession. I started going to rehearsals with him. In this process, I saw that he had a lot of fun, was happy and appreciated. My brother-in-law taught me that being an actress is more important than glory and being appreciated and admired by people. I would be happy if I became someone like him in my professional life.”
Education life: She studied acting.
The turning point of her life: The course of her life changed when she met director Merve Girgin at a dinner. “Meeting producer Arzu Eğmir by chance during a family dinner changed my life. After Arzu Eğmir introduced me to Director Merve Girgin, I joined the cast of “O Hayat Benim”. I love Arzu Abla and Teacher Merve very much, and I am grateful to them for holding my hand.”
The first step into acting: Her television adventure began in 2015 with the character of Müge, which she portrayed in the TV series “O Hayat Benim”.
Which project did it shine with? She attracted attention with her character “İnci” in the TV series “Kayıt Dışı”.
Personality traits: Extremely stubborn and impatient, overly fond of family and friends. “I am cheerful, attached to loved ones, domestic, but also stubborn and impatient. I have ambition too, but not enough to hurt anyone. If it hurts, it will happen to me. I always pray to God that I don’t have greed to cause anyone to cry. Even when someone hurts me, I don’t respond, I blame myself.”
Mindset: She doesn’t care much about fame. “I don’t want this job to make me famous, let them look at me like a celebrity from the outside. Because I want to be an actress, not a phenomenon or a role model. I want to continue my career by learning and adding to my profession.”
Source of happiness: Since she started acting, she has been happy to work with many masters. “Since the day I started my career, I have had friends who I am happy to work with. I am lucky that I have learned very valuable things from all of them and I continue to learn. The fact that learning never ends is always in my ears.”

Her view of love: “When I fall in love, I feel like the happiest person in the world. Actually, I am a person who is in love with the feeling of falling in love. I don’t agree with those who say that love only happens once. For me, love is living and feeling more and more each time. Love means living and feeling more every time. A need is as good as the water I drink, something as beautiful as the breath I breathe. When I live in love, I am completely transparent and live everything very high. You know, as they say, ‘Don’t put love at the center of your life’, I put it at the center of my life. I also love your pain. It is such a beautiful pain that if I live, I say, ‘I am suffering from love to the bone’. I’m not very lewd. Especially when I’m in a relationship, I can live completely attached to someone, even obsessed. Even after separation, as long as it doesn’t end with me, I live in love with him and I don’t see anyone. I thought I was very much in love, but then I said, ‘I think I fell in love once’. But now I understand that the dynamics of every relationship and every person are very different from each other. Every time you think it’s the person and time you fall in love with the most, but when it’s over or when you start to have new feelings for someone new, it means that you start to think that there is more to every emotion.”
Her outlook on life: She prefers to live her life in the flow. “Life itself is already a journey. You should always be open to learning and discovering. During this time, I have made many precious memories. I continue to collect these precious moments.”
Perspective on business life: She cares about working hard while preparing for the project. While creating a character, she tries to find a common point with herself. “I try to find a point that I feel close to or liken to in every character I start believing. I’d rather work hard than describe it as a challenge. Some viewers have difficulty distinguishing between real life and the characters in the TV series/movies they watch and they forget the fact that we act within the scenario. Being an actress at such a young age and being recognized by such a large audience is a good feeling and it also makes me feel a great responsibility. With this responsibility, I want to achieve more successful works in my career.”
Career plan: She sees being an actress more important than setting goals for acting. “That’s why it’s important that I be able to portray, not that the character I’m doing is less or less important. That’s why I don’t limit myself to one goal.”
Unforgettable memory on the set: Before he became an actress, he had taboos, but over time he broke them. “I grew up suppressed in the family. That’s why I used to say, ‘I never kiss’. But you’re not going to talk big. I had a kissing scene for the first time in cruel Istanbul. Our director, Cevdet Mercan, is like a father. While the scene was being shot, I said, ‘Sir, if you don’t look at it. She got stuck. My father said, ‘Daughter, we threw you into the sea, shall we say swimming?’ When I got home, I cried a lot, I was so ashamed. After all, you are among 50 people. But then I looked, the world is not moving. This is a very normal thing. They just make it abnormal.”
Who does she admire? She admires Serenay Sarıkaya. “I would like to be an actress like Serenay Sarıkaya. She is an actress that I admire and admire. If I can achieve success at such a young age like her, I will be happy.”
Does she follow fashion? She doesn’t like shopping. She doesn’t follow fashion either. “Whatever I am comfortable in, fashion is for me. I like to wear more dark colors. My essentials are; my sweatpants. I don’t have a regular maintenance ritual. I try to use natural products as much as possible.
What does she do at home? She usually prefers to be at home when she is not working. “I love my world that I created at home, my solitude. I watch movies and enjoy cooking.”
