Damla Sönmez, who we watched in the lead role in the Aziz series broadcast on Show TV on Friday evenings, is a name that has collected many awards with her successful performances.
Answering Hakan Gence’s questions in the Hürriyet newspaper, the actress has so many awards despite her young age that it is not unfair to describe her as the ‘woman of awards’. Stating that he was happy to receive many awards by saying “It is a very honorable and proud situation”, the young actress also drew attention with the following words:
“But of course, I don’t walk on the street saying ‘I am the woman of awards’. It’s very enjoyable, it’s actually very enjoyable when people tell you ‘we love what you do’… It’s a very enjoyable and happy thing. On the one hand, it is not exactly a determinant. You shouldn’t be stuck with her and spend your life like that. You should not do the things you do out of fear of reward.”
Damla Sönmez, who received her first Golden Orange award at the age of 22 and went to university at that time, has been taking part in both cinema, theater and TV series for many years.
