Family: Originally from Samsun Wednesday. Born in the Netherlands, has an older brother. 5-year-old arrived in Turkey with her family. “My parents were in the same class in primary school. My mother’s father, my grandfather are going to the Netherlands with a labor migration, and my mother is with her. Years later, when they came to Turkey for vacation, my mother, seeing my father. They like each other. They are getting married in the Netherlands. My father is a mechanical engineer, but since he does not have a foreign language, he works with my mother as a worker. My brother and I are born there. We were staying with my grandmother in Samsun, Bafra for a while. When I was five my mum and dad when we get back we always settle in Turkey with Istanbul. ”
Childhood years: As a child, she had no goal of being an actor. During her high school years, on a whim, she joined the school’s theater group and discovered her talent here. “When I started high school, I joined the theater group of the school for action and this side of mine came out. It was interesting how everyone there looked at life. Then I liked the scene. I started making my own money from games. I worked as a clowning at birthdays and municipal events and as an animator in summers. The theater group was closed in high school, and I suddenly got caught up in the tests. I entered the International Relations Department of Istanbul University. I was playing in children’s games while going to school. Then I entered the Istanbul State Conservatory. I studied university for exactly nine years. ”
Education life: After graduating from Kadir Has Anatolian High School, she entered Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. Later, she graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department.
First step into acting: She started her television adventure with the character “Seyhan” in the series “Canım Ailem”.
With which project did it shine? She drew attention with the character “Ayşegül”, which she portrayed in the “Gold of Istanbul” series.
Personality traits: Passionate, energetic, constantly in conflict with herself, negative thinking, hardworking, determined, disciplined, self-improvement.
Mindset: When she first started acting in her 20s, she was a more perfectionist person. But now she is completely concerned with the pleasure of her work. “I don’t care if my work is perfect anymore, the result can be good or bad, the important thing is actually that last process. I close my eyes a little, because I enjoy it. I could have been doing this somewhere other than acting. That’s why I don’t see acting as something sacred, I see it as something united with life. Career plan: She wants to do theater, film, internet business, and to have the beginning and end of her job clear. “As an actor, first I have to take care of myself, my mental health, my psychology and my body. I base all my motivation only on doing my job well. I always think about why I do this job, what it brings me, and I want to act in accordance with my answer. ”
Future Dream : She is not someone who can plan for the future. There is no intention of acting in Turkey but she wants to quit making too to take place in the Dutch project. “Playing in a theater in the Netherlands. Why not? Last summer, I got a small role in the movie “Undercover” directed by Boris Paval Conen. I don’t know what time shows. Maybe I will have the opportunity to work on another project. ”
Theater, cinema or drama acting? Theater and cinema acting make her more happy. “Because you can see better what needs to be done there. In the series, the script can go to many other places, there is a situation that we cannot predict and do not know. Theater and cinema are more artistic and exciting. ”
Concerns: She finds the violence happening all over the world very worrying. “The world is getting more conservative and this affects personal freedoms, our view of each other and our judgments. On the one hand, we feel less and less safe. Right now, I am living with anxiety as to whether a bomb will explode somewhere. ”
The criterion of attractiveness in men: It is interesting that the man in front of him is brave, nice looking, nice laughing and understanding.
Relationship with nature lives in Kadıköy. She feels peaceful and comfortable there. Her biggest passion is; lie down on the grass She also loves to ride a bicycle. “I cycle in the summer. We go to Maltepe from Kadıköy with friends. I even dreamed of going on a bike across the street, but Istanbul is so steep and traffic! It is impossible to reach by bicycle. ”
Which country would you like to live in? Most of her relatives are in the Netherlands. She loves Amsterdam and wants to live there. “I love Amsterdam very much. I love that small size, the convenience of transportation, the accessibility of everywhere, the fact that the city takes you in, I love cycling. I can’t say I’m unhappy here either, thank God everything goes well, but I wish I was living there. ”
