Famous actress Pelin Karahan takes part in the highly anticipated project called Musicals from Broadway to Istanbul. The actress, who went on stage and was very excited, was very pleased that she received good returns.
The famous actress had an important experience by going on the theater stage for the first time. Pelin Karahan, who was remembered for her different roles in both the cinema and TV series, expressed that she also loves the stage experience.
The actress said, “I took the stage for the first time in the musical directed by Haldun Dormen. We were very excited, it was very nice, the reactions were very good.”
Explaining that musical theater performances are very different and important for the actors, Pelin Karahan said, “TV series and movies are more limited, but you are more free on stage. Also, the taste of contact with the audience on the stage was very different. People are happy when they get it,” she said.
The famous actress, who took singing lessons for her musical project and also did special works on stage, focused on this project after completing the shooting of the movie Güven Bana (Trust Me).
The work on the movie Güven Bana, in which important names such as Cihangir Ceyhan, Okan Çabalar, Erdal Özyağcılar and Ufuk Bayraktar also starred, was completed in mid-August.
Focusing on the project titled Musicals from Broadway to Istanbul, the actress also improved herself in dance for the project.
The musical, which also includes names such as Canan Ergüder, Asuman Dabak, Emre Altuğ, Pelin Akil, has an important meaning in her career as it opened the doors of the theater stage to Pelin Karahan.
Pelin Karahan, who was born in Ankara in 1984, became popular with the character of Aslı in the TV series Kavak Yelleri, and after this series, which began to be broadcast in 2007, she took part in successive roles in her career.
The actress, who also played the character of Mihrimah Sultan in the Muhteşem Yüzyıl (Magnificent Century) series, was last seen on the screen with the character of İnci in the TRT1 TV series, Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru (Cyrus Towards Victory).
