Aşk Mantık İntikam series, which was broadcast on Friday evenings, was the best production of the summer period. With the increase in the number of viewers in September, the positive picture began to deteriorate for the series, which made good progress in the winter season.
The underlying reason for this deterioration was that the script started to turn from romantic comedy to drama. Fans of the series started to complain about this situation. Aşk Mantık İntikam, which is an adaptation of the South Korean TV series and advancing to this point by staying true to the original, has been changing towards cliché Turkish productions in recent weeks.
Fans of the series warn the screenwriters about this, but the story needs to be deepened and differentiated in order to fill the time and compete with strong series. Because the original story is at the point of exhaustion. Aşk Mantık İntikam, which will struggle to survive until the end of the season, is currently one of the best productions of Friday evenings. However, this may change.
Anibal Güleroğlu, one of the bloggers of Milliyet, thinks that this change will seriously damage the course of the series and gives a message to the screenwriters with the following comment:
“The initial advantage of the script, which was adapted primarily from the South Korean drama ‘My Cunning Single Lady’, cannot be underestimated. As a matter of fact, the adaptation flow was very successful when it came to the screen. Özlem İnci Hekimoğlu and Nil Güleç Ünsal did a great job in this regard. They almost made the original original without giving any twists or contradicting the social mentality. This was an important detail that would make the difference-making painting of ‘Aşk Mantık İntikam’ long-lasting.
However, it is clear that this commendable picture has changed a bit as of the last episodes, and that the series tends to cliché extensions of local productions where the original script is exhausted in order to fill the long episodes. Maybe this change can be of some benefit to the series in the first place. However, as the episodes progress, the continual postponing of love between couples for cliché reasons and the proliferation of easily predictable scenes can create boredom for the audience, who is overly saturated with such topics.”
The 15th new episode of the series will meet with the audience on Friday, October 1st.
